The Program works to reduce the incidence of HIV and AIDS in Ottawa-Carleton through community education, partnerships, the AIDS-Sexual Health Info Line, short-term counselling for newly diagnosed individuals and an HIV Prevention Program for injection drug users called the SITE. It offers needle exchange, HIV testing and counselling, Hepatitis B and C testing as well as Hepatitis B vaccine.

Promoting optimal sexual health for all residents of Ottawa-Carleton, the Healthy Sexuality Program provides multifaceted services encompassing health promotion activities, healthy relationship strategies, risk reduction activities, case management, creation of educational material addressing a variety of sexual health issues targeted to clients or health care providers in the community. Free and confidential sexual health clinical services are available to clients at the following locations:
